Andrew Sellergren

Software Engineer · Researcher · Triathlete · Poker Player

I'm a software engineer at Google, working on research in medical AI and computer vision. Outside of work, I compete in triathlons and play mixed game poker.

Medical AI & Computer Vision

At Google Research, I build foundation models and multimodal AI systems for healthcare and medicine. A few selected papers are below.

Swim, Bike, Run

I've raced triathlons since 2009, with over 20 finishes including five Ironman-distance events. My first Ironman in 2010 took 15 hours and 35 minutes; by 2016, I'd brought that down to 10:33. I've been a 70.3 World Championship qualifier, an Ironman All World Athlete, and a USAT All American.
